2006: Named to Atlantic Sun All-Freshman squad ... Started 46 games, 11 as a pitcher … Struck out 10 batters and earned his first win in five innings of work in his first start against Bradley on March 5 … Earned A-Sun Pitcher of the Week honors for his three-hit complete game win over Jacksonville for the team’s first conference win of the season … Finished season with a .336 batting average … Had a team-high 16-game hitting streak during which he raised his average from .170 to .330 … Collected a season-high four hits against Mercer on May 19 … Reached base in his first three at-bats in his collegiate debut, with a double, single and walk against Marshall on February 17.

Twice named to Akron Beacon Journal and Cleveland Plain Dealer teams ... Named to All-Ohio team and played in the All-Ohio Mizuno Game as a senior ...
