Belmont’s Bruin Blast is high energy athletic pep band that consist of rhythm section, brass & woodwinds that performs at all men’s and women’s home basketball games, selected special events across the campus, and at Atlantic Sun Conference and NCAA tournaments.

Membership in this select ensemble is open to all Belmont students through audition. Bruin Blast members receive a stipend and special benefits for their participation. Auditions are held at the beginning of the fall semester but occasional openings do occur mid year. At this time, the pep band is not offered as a class and academic credit is therefore not available.
