GOLFER ROBBY MCNIFF SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT

NASHVILLE, TENN. - - Belmont University Men’s Golf Head Coach Brian Costello announced Tuesday the signing of Robby McNiff to a national letter of intent.

McNiff, a native of Muskegon, Michigan, was a three-time All-State player for Muskegon Mona Shores High School. He was also an Honorable Mention All-State selection as a freshman. MMSHS won two team state titles during McNiff’s high school career.

McNiff was named to the prestigious Michigan Super Team his junior year in high school. Costello believes the addition of a player of McNiff’s repute with enhance the Belmont program.

"Robby is a great young man who knows how to win,” Costello said. “He comes from a strong golfing background and has a great attitude and a solid work ethic. I expect Robby to step right in and compete for a spot in the lineup next season."

Costello has strong ties to the Wolverine state, as he served as Associate Head Coach at the University of Detroit-Mercy prior to coming to Belmont.
