BELMONT TRACK ATHLETES UNABLE TO ADVANCE ON DAY TWO OF THE
NCAA MIDEAST REGIONAL

Columbia, Mo. – Belmont track and field athletes competed in two events on day two of the NCAA Mideast Regional at the University of Missouri in Columbia.

In the women’s pole vault, junior Christa Coppin failed on three attempts at the first height and did not advance.

In the women’s 4x400 meter relay, Belmont’s quartet of Rives, Pollock, Jessica Giles, and Khalia Turner placed 14th with a school record time of 3:43.41, but did not qualify for nationals.
