The Curb Event Center is the centerpiece of Belmont’s Division I athletics program. Opened in the fall of 2003 and funded by a $10 million donation from the Curb Family Foundation and well-known music executive Mike Curb, it serves as the home of BU’s volleyball and basketball programs. The Curb Event Center arena has 5,000 permanent seats in an oval configuration, and a permanent maple hardwood floor. It has three full-size basketball courts and eight suites. In addition to the arena, the center also includes offices for the Athletics Department, locker rooms for the Belmont athletic teams along with visiting teams, athletic training facilities, and weight rooms and other facilities for the athletics program.
Since its opening, the Curb Event Center has already hosted several special events.
