to Belmont: Helped lead Davidson Academy to its eighth state
championship in the last nine seasons after finishing sixth at the 2003
Class A-AA State Championship at Pickwick State Park … Tabbed
first team All-State as a senior after earning second team honors the
previous two seasons … Placed in the top-10 in each of her seven
tournaments as a senior including a season-best second at both the Davidson
Academy Invitational and the Class A-AA District Championship …
Member of the varsity squad since entering the eighth grade …
Named team co-captain for two years... Was the first golfer at DA to
bury a hole-in-one … Earned first team All-American honors from
the Athletes of Good News organization that recognizes the top high
school Christian student-athletes in America .. Coached by former Belmont
basketball standout Kevin Maggard in high school.
