Lewis tells BelmontBruins.com she is thankful for the opportunity and excited to contribute to the ABC affiliate. She adds that beyond her anchoring and reporting responsibilities with KEZI-TV, she will be broadening her portfolio with play-by-play and freelance reporting opportunities in the pacific northwest.
The native of Independence, Missouri started working Belmont athletic events as a scoreboard operator at baseball games and a press row assistant at basketball games.
From there, Lewis was named Miss Tennessee 2014 and placed top 10 in the 87th Miss America pageant.
An interest in broadcasting formed, and Lewis earned assignment as a sideline reporter for Belmont home broadcasts on the OVC Digital Network.
That experience led to opportunities with ESPN3, WKRN-TV, 104.5 The Zone, and the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA).
