Baseball Conducts Parkwood Clinics For Nashville Youth
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont University Baseball Team conducted its annual Parkwood Clinics for the eighth straight year this fall. As leaders on and off the field, the Belmont baseball seniors run the clinic, while all Belmont players give instruction to the children attending each event.
"It is a great opportunity for our players to give back to the game of baseball and the city of Nashville," Head Coach Dave Jarvis said. The clinics, which took place on the Saturdays of November 13, November 20, and December 4, have helped enrich the Nashville community with a love of baseball for almost a decade now.
Coach Jarvis and the Belmont squad will open up the 2011 season hosting Illinois State for a three-game series on February 18, 19, and 20 at brand new E.S. Rose Park in Nashville.
