Men's Basketball Signee Craig Bradshaw Leads CPA to State Title

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University men's basketball signee Craig Bradshaw led Nashville Christ Presbyterian Academy to the Tennessee Class AA boys' basketball state championship over the weekend.

Bradshaw scored a game-high 23 points as CPA defeated Memphis Mitchell, 78-64, Saturday in Murfreesboro for the school's first-ever state title.

The 6-2 guard was also named state tournament MVP and Class AA Mr. Basketball winner. All told, Bradshaw averaged 18.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.8 steals per game this season on 57 percent shooting from the field.

A four-time All-District and two-time All-Region honoree, Bradshaw has tallied over 2,000 points, 900 assists and 600 rebounds in his CPA career for head coach Drew Maddux.

Bradshaw joins Caleb Chowbay (Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) and Jeff Laidig (Mishawaka, Ind.) in Belmont's incoming class.
