Tyler Holloway returns in 2012-13 for his second season as Director of Basketball Operations for the Bruins.
Holloway served as a graduate assistant for the Bruins during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons, while earning his master's degree in Sport Administration from Belmont.
The Decatur, Ala. native will support the Bruin program in a number of capacities, including video analysis, player development, scouting reports, recruiting, and other day-to-day activities.
"We are excited that Tyler will be back with our program for another year as our Director of Basketball Operations," Byrd said. "Tyler's future in the coaching profession is a bright one and he will continue to help our staff and team in many different ways."
Holloway was a four-year letterwinner at Murray State University from 2006-09, where he was part of the Racers' 2006 NCAA Tournament team. The sharpshooting guard scored 1,083 career points, becoming the 34th member of Murray State's 1000 point club. Holloway is the Racers' career leader in free throw percentage (.858) and second all-time in made three-point field goals (210).
