Men's Golf Finishes 11th at the Mizzou Intercollegiate

Columbia, Mo. – The Belmont men’s team finished in 11th place at the Mizzou Intercollegiate held this week at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Missouri.

Belmont carded a round of 303 on Tuesday to move up two spots from their Monday finish of 13th to 11th place and conclude the tournament with a 54-hole score of 909. The overall team champion was Nebraska, who finished the event with a mark of 857.

Two Bruins finished in the top-30. Both Stuart Ashwood and Robbie Taylor tied for 27th place with a three-round score of 223. Both players shot rounds of 76 on Tuesday. Other Belmont scores included: Scott O’Brien (T-31st, 224), Elliott Wickenden (T-71st, 239), and Simon Marshall (81st, 254).

The Bruins will be back in action next Monday-Wednesday, April 19-21, at the Atlantic Sun Championship in Braselton, Georgia.
