Men's Golf Finishes 16th at the Mason Rudolph Championship
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team finished in 16th place after at this weekend's Mason Rudolph Championship hosted by Vanderbilt at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee.
Belmont wrapped up the tournament by posting a 302 in Sunday's final round to finish in 16th place with a score of 899. The tournament champion was Memphis, who posted a 54-hole mark of 842.
Senior Dan Smith led the way for the Bruins as he finished tied for 62nd place. He carded a 77 on Sunday to finish with a 54-hole score of 224. Freshman Logan Hance posted a 74 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 68th at 225. Other Belmont scores from the weekend included: freshman Max Markley (T-75th, 228), freshman Ben Simpson (T-75th, 228), and David Novinger (T087th, 237).
The men's golf team will be back on the course on Monday-Tuesday, October 4-5 at the Murray State Invitational in Murray, Kentucky.
