Elliott Wickenden Tied for Eighth after 54 Holes of the Tennessee State Amateur
CORDOVA, Tenn. – Belmont rising junior Elliott Wickenden is tied for eighth place after the third round of the 96th Tennessee State Amateur Championship held this week at the South Course of Colonial Country Club in Cordova, Tennessee.
Wickenden carded another 5-over par 77 in Thursday's third round, which dropped him into a tie for eighth place with a score of 223 (+7) with Grant Milner, Kody Alexander, and Davis Bunn. The tournament leader is Bobby Hudson, who is five shots ahead with a 54-hole score of 218.
Former Bruin Charlie Keene, who shot a 75 on Thursday, moved up to a tie for 27th place with a score of 228 (+12).
The final round will begin Friday morning at 8:00am. Keene will tee off at 10:00am, while Wickenden will begin at 10:50am.
