Elliott Wickenden Ties for Eighth at the Rain-Shortened Tennessee State Amateur
CORDOVA, Tenn. – Belmont rising junior Elliott Wickenden finished tied for eighth place at the 96th Tennessee State Amateur Championship held this week at the South Course of Colonial Country Club in Cordova, Tennessee. Friday's final round was cancelled due to rain and thunderstorms and the final scores after Thursday's round were declared the final results.
Wickenden tied for eighth place with a score of 223 (+7) with Grant Milner, Kody Alexander, and Davis Bunn. The tournament champion was Bobby Hudson, who posted a 218 for 54 holes.
Former Bruin Charlie Keene finished in a tie for 27th place with a score of 228 (+12).
