Men's Golf in 13th Place after Day Two of the Mason Rudolph Championship
FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf teams stands in 13th after two rounds of the Mason Rudolph Championship held this weekend at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee.
Belmont shot a team score of 310 in Saturday's second round to finish the day in 13th place with a 36-hole mark of 603. Oklahoma is the tournament leader after 36 holes with score of 564.
Freshman Carson Ward continues to lead Belmont as he is tied for 40th place at 148. He shot a five-over par 76 on Saturday. Sophomore Ben Simpson is tied for 47th place with a score of 149. He also carded a 76 on Saturday. Other Belmont scores include: senior Elliott Wickenden (T-61st, 152), freshman Ted Moon (T-67th, 154), and freshman Adam Sanders (T-78th, 162). Freshman Chris Thurman, competing as an individual, is tied for 76th place at 161.
The third and final round of the tournament will begin Sunday morning at 7:30am CT. The Belmont golfers will tee off from the 10th hole from 8:30-9:15am.
