Men's Golf Finishes 21st at the ASU Red Wolf Intercollegiate
JONESBORO, Ark. -- The Belmont men's golf team finished in 21st place at the ASU Red Wolf Intercollegiate held this week in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Belmont shot a team score of 298 on Tuesday to finish in 21st place with a 54-hole score of 909. UALR won the team title after posting a score of 848.
The Bruins were led by junior Elliott Wickenden. The junior from Knoxville tied for 61st place with a three round score of 224. Freshman Ted Moon tied for 75th place with a 54-hole mark of 226. Other Belmont scores from the tournament included: Ben Simpson (T-78th, 227), Carson Ward (T-101st, 234), and Adam Sanders (T-117th, 246).
Freshman Chris Thurman competed as an individual and finished in a tie for 104th place at 236.
The men's golf team returns to the course next Monday and Tuesday, April 9-10, at the Mizzou Intercollegiate in Columbia, Missouri.
