Dr. Mike Voight begins his second season as an assistant coach
for the men's golf program.
Currently a tenured professor in Belmont’s School of
Physical Therapy, Dr. Voight will assist the Belmont golf team by
helping them improve their performance by focusing on the areas of
instruction, course management, the mental game, and physical
He is one the founders of Nashville’s Performance
Golf Institute and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the
Titleist Performance Institute.
In addition to academic and clinical practice, Dr. Voight has
also served four terms on the Executive board of the Sports
Physical Therapy Section of the APTA. In his last elected
position, Dr. Voight served in the capacity of President of the
SPTS. Internationally, Dr. Voight was elected to the
Executive Board of the International Federation of Sports
Physiotherapy and served two terms on the Board working closely
with IOC medical commission and developing worldwide educational
standards in sports physical therapy.
