Frye Featured in The Tennessean

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Belmont men's track and field senior thrower Joe Frye (Roscommon, Mich.) was featured in the Tuesday, May 10 edition of The Tennessean.  

Frye sat down with reporter Mike Organ to talk about his record breaking performances in indoor and outdoor throwing events.  Organ also talked with Head Coach Jeff Langdon and Strength and Conditioning Coach Josh McMillian about Frye's impressive progress over his five years with the program.

Frye, who owns the Belmont outdoor records in the discus, shot put and hammer throw, will attempt to break his own personal bests this weekend at the University of Louisville's Cardinal Twilight before competing at the NCAA Mideast Regionals in Bloomington, Ind., later this month.
