Women's Basketball Holds Off Memphis to Win Home Opener

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Belmont women's basketball team (1-0) built an eight point lead by halftime and never looked back in their home opener against Memphis (1-1) on Sunday afternoon. The Bruins, who saw point production from every dressed player, defeated the Tigers, 69-60, and improved in the all-time series with the Tigers, 4-1. Read Full Release

MACON, Ga. -- 11 Days of A-Sun Basketball tips off with a closer look at Belmont. The Bruins will be led by Preseason All-Conference post player Jessica Bobbitt looking to improve on a 14-16 season last year. As a junior, she broke into the elite 50-50 club, recording over 50 blocks and 50 steals, becoming one of only two players in the country to do so. Read Full Release
