Belmont Women's Invitational First Round Suspended; Tournament Shortened to 18 Holes

**UPDATE on Monday at 8:00PM -- Due to storm damage at Old Hickory Country Club, the tournament has been shortened to a 18 hole event.  First round play will reconvene at 1:00pm.  Final tournament results will be based on first round scores.**

 

OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The first round of the Belmont Women's Invitational has been suspended due to a line of severe storms that hit Middle Tennessee and the Old Hickory Country Club on Monday afternoon.

 

First round play began Monday morning with 9:00am shotgun start.  After nine holes of play, a line of severe storms hit the golf course and forced a suspension of the first round until Tuesday morning. 

 

Due to storm damage at Old Hickory Country Club, the tournament has been shortened to a 18 hole event.  First round play will reconvene at 1:00pm.  Final tournament results will be based on first round scores.
