NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team returns to competition this weekend as they take part in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Sevierville, Tennessee.
The Bruins come into the second event of the spring season with some momentum. Last week in Gulf Shores, Alabama, they beat Austin Peay in a dual match by five strokes. Junior Mallory Sullivan was the medalist with a 36-hole mark of 155.
Junior Abbie Gregory continues to be the team's scoring leader. Through 11 competitive rounds, she has an average of 76.9. Sullivan is right behind Abbie with a 77.2 mark.
The Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate is hosted by Tennessee Tech at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tennessee. It is a three-day, 54 hole event with 18 holes played on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Play will begin each day with a 7:30am CT shotgun start.
