Softball Set For Conference Doubleheader with Mercer

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--- Belmont will host Mercer for the first of two conference doubleheaders at Rose Park this weekend. The Bruins will face Kennesaw State tomorrow afternoon. Belmont and Mercer will meet at 4 p.m. at Rose Park for the first game of the series.

Mercer leads the all-time series 15-8, including a 5-6 mark in Nashville. The Bears are currently ranked seventh in the Atlantic Sun with a 6-8 conference record. The doubleheader with the Bruins marks a critical series for both teams as they try and position themselves for a spot in the conference tournament. Belmont will play the third and fourth games at Rose Park in the past two days after hosting UT-Martin for a doubleheader earlier this week. Belmont is 1-5 in the new park this season.
