Softball to Host Elite Camp at Rose Park Over Labor Day Weekend
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - The Belmont softball team will be offering an Elite Camp over Labor Day weekend, September 3-4th. The clinic will be led by Bruin coaches and players and will provide skill instruction for offense and defense, as well as competitive games and a recruiting question and answer session. The camp will be held out at E.S. Rose Park, the new home of the Belmont softball team. Spots for the camp are still available.
The 2011 Elite Camp is open to graduation years 2012-2016 and will consist of two day-long sessions at Rose Park. In addition to the skill instruction, the clinic will offer participants a chance to tour the Belmont University campus. The cost per camper is $125, and a travel/high school team discount is available for teams with eight or more players participating in the camp. Participants will need to bring their own equipment, as well as a lunch, for both days of the clinic. The deadline for registration is August 24th.
Camp brochures are available online at www.belmontbruins.com, under the Team Links section of the softball homepage. Questions about the clinic should be directed to Head Coach Chris Kuhlmeyer.
