Registration Open for Softball Elite Camp on September 1-2

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Belmont softball head coach Chris Kuhlmeyer announced today that registration remains open and spaces are available for the 2012 Elite Camp to be held on September 1 and 2 at E.S. Rose Park.

This two-day skills camp is open to 2013 –2017 graduates.  The camp will focus on skill instruction in both offensive (hitting, bunting, and base running) and defensive strategies (infield, outfield, pitching and catching).  Pitching and catching instruction will now be held separately due to time constraints and allowing players who play multiple positions to be able to work on all skills.  Attendees will also play in competitive games where coaches will be on hand to evaluate players.  The final day of camp opens with a recruiting question and answer session at 8:00 a.m.

The camp begins at 9:00 a.m. each day and ends at 6:00 p.m.  $150 covers the cost of instruction and insurance.  Registering for the Pitching/Catching Portion is an additional $25.  Attendees must bring their own equipment.
