NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont University Women's Tennis head coach Mark Srouji recently announced the addition of an outstanding player for the 2018-19 season.  The bruins will welcome Peyton Lee (Marietta, Ga.) into the Bruin family in the fall of 2018.

A 4 Star tennis recruit from Marietta, Ga., Lee has been ranked as high as #1 in the Southern rankings and as high as #44 in national rankings by tennisrecruiting.net.   She has won a national title in both singles and doubles, has been a doubles finalist in several national tournaments and has been the winner of the Southern Winter Level 1 Championships.

The four-time All County honoree has won several sportsmanship awards in national and southern tournaments. Lee has also been a part of the National Team Championships as well as a player for Team Georgia in Southern Junior Cup – Gold Division.

"Peyton is a great fit for Belmont University and the women's tennis program," Srouji said.  "She is a great person and student-athlete."

Lee, who plays #1 singles, will join the Bruins after wrapping her career at Marietta High School.  The four-time MVP selection helped her team win Region last year.
