Mellado Featured in Tennessean story about Dads, Daughters and Sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Recent Belmont women's track and field graduate Ester Mellado (South Barrington, Ill.) was featured in Sunday, June 19 edition of The Tennessean in a story about fathers and daughters bonding through athletics.

Reporter Jessica Bliss talked with Mellado about her relationship with her father, an Olympic javelin thrower, and how they bonded over shared love of sports.  Mellado played volleyball and threw javelin at Belmont.
