August 1, 2017, Belmont University Athletics unveiled a new branding campaign entitled #investedinyou as part of the university's strategic plan, Vision2020.
The #investedinyou campaign embodies the engagement and benevolence of the Bruin community – student-athletes, coaches, faculty, staff, alumni, and fans alike.
"Much of the Belmont Athletics' brand is tied to championships, national prominence in numerous sports, committed coaching and peerless academic achievement," Belmont assistant athletic director for broadcasting & media relations Greg Sage said. "But the Belmont experience is far more, and #investedinyou truly captures the intentionality and commitment to relationship development and living in community. Additionally, #investedinyou harnesses the ethos of the university's newly codified Belmont State of Mind and inclusion model as part of Vision2020."
"Being a part of the Bruin family is interconnected and lasting; for inasmuch as the Belmont community invests in the lives of student-athletes, student-athletes pour into the lives of all they come in contact with: sport ministry partners, Nashville non-profits, school groups and fellow students just to name a few."
The #investedinyou campaign taps into the Bruin spirit and incorporates the core values of Belmont University: service, collaboration, humility, inquiry, and integrity.
Each Tuesday throughout the 2017-18 academic calendar year, Belmont Athletics will share video testimonials and social media posts showcasing how #investedinyou is lived out.
Beyond digital and social platforms, #investedinyou stories will be featured on Belmont game broadcasts and Curb Event Center in-house videoboards.
