NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Senior volleyball player Maggie Mullins (Nashville, Tenn.) and freshman Jacob McLeod (Soperton, Ga.) have been named Trane Belmont Student-Athletes of the Month for November.
Mullins overcame some challenges during her senior season with the volleyball team. Dealing with a painful injury for the latter part of the season, Mullins persevered, playing in 97 sets over 26 matches (ranking second on the team) and finished second on the team in kills and services aces.
McLeod had a highly successful first year on the men's cross country team. He won one individual title, had five top-10 finishes, earned OVC Freshman of the Year honors, and was named to the All-South Region team. In addition, he qualified for the NCAA Championships as an individual.
Belmont University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Month honorees are based on the following criteria:
