Kaitlyn Wilson joined Belmont University Athletics in fall 2019 as a graduate assistant for athletic marketing. Wilson serves in a crucial behind-the-scenes role with the execution of Belmont athletic events, assisting with in-game promotions and fan engagement at all Bruin home events.
Prior to Belmont, Wilson served as a football recruiting assistant with the Southern Mississippi football team. The Hattiesburg, Miss., native assisted in the planning and coordination all welcome events for recruits and their families in addition to helping organize all recruiting events.
As an undergrad at Southern Mississippi, Wilson also worked as an administrative athletic director’s student assistant. For two years, she was in charge of the accomdation for the visiting athletic director during sporting events and developed ideas to better the athletic programs.
As an eagle club/donor relations administrative intern in the Summer of 2016, Wilson assisted with ticket sales and premium Eagle Club seating in addition to scheduling and coordinating administration/donor meetings. In all four years at Southern Mississippi, Wilson served as a sports marketing volunteer for the athletic department. In that role, she assisted the promotional efforts for increased attendance ratings at all sporting events.
Wilson was invited to the Women's Final Four in Dallas as an administrative intern in 2017. She assisted with game day operations, marketing promotions and administrative needs while coordinating pre and post game community events each day.
During her time at Southern Mississippi, Wilson was the Luckyday Scholar Recipient and a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. Wilson received her Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Mississippi in Business Administration in May 2019. She is working on her Master of Sport Administration degree at Belmont.
