NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont Baseball Head Coach Dave Jarvis and the Baseball staff are pleased to welcome Grayson Taylor for the 2018-2019 season.
Taylor hails from Cullman, Alabama and will join the Belmont infield. He currently plays under the direction of Head Coach Brent Patterson at Cullman High School. Taylor is a top 500 player according to Perfect Game and is ranked as the number seven prospect from the state of Alabama.
"We are thrilled that Grayson has chosen to come to Belmont!" assistant coach Aaron Smith said. "He is a plus defender that might remind some of a former Bruin in Tyer Walsh. He is a long lean defender that we think is just now tapping into his offensive ability."
Taylor spends the off season playing for Viper Baseball Academy under the direction of Rickie Diehl.
