LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Former Belmont men's basketball standout Ian Clark played a key role in the Golden State Warriors' 80-66 victory over the Sacramento Kings at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

In 20 minutes of action, Clark scored 14 points, had two steals and one rebound.  He had a great shooting night as he shot 50 percent from the field both in total field goals (5-10) and in three point shots (3-6).  He was also 1 of 2 from the free throw line.

Golden State, who was up 12-11 after one period, outscored the Kings 29-16 in the second quarter to give them a 14 point lead at halftime.  They did not relinquish the lead in the second half and cruised to the 80-66 win.

Clark and his teammates will be back in action on Tuesday as they play Milwaukee at 5:30pm CT at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.  Live coverage will be provided on NBA TV and NBA Summer League Live.

NOTE: Through seven NBA Summer League games - five with the Miami Heat and now two with Golden State - teams are +49 with Ian Clark on the court, including another +10 Monday.
