Wright State Game Notes

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University men's basketball returns to game action Thursday night versus Wright State.

The Bruins dropped a 65-62 decision to Evansville Tuesday. Amanze Egekeze (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) and Evan Bradds (Jamestown, Ohio) each scored 13 points for Belmont.

Bradds is a native of Jamestown, Ohio, just minutes east of Dayton. Bradds was a standout at Greeneview High School. He scored a then career-high 21 points at Wright State in the season opener.

Belmont and Wright State had three common opponents last season: Eastern Illinois, Green Bay, and Morehead State.

Belmont and Wright State have each recruited well in the state of Indiana. The Bruins currently have three roster members (Spencer Turner, Jeff Laidig, and Mack Mercer) from the Hoosier State, with all three commitments in the Class of 2015 from Indiana. Wright State has seven players from Indiana.

This marks the sixth meeting between Belmont and Wright State, and second this season. The Raiders won, 73-70, Nov. 14 in Dayton.

Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. CT from the Curb Event Center.
