OVC Quarterfinal Preview

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Belmont University men's basketball returns to game action Thursday in the quarterfinal round of the 2015 OVC Basketball Championship.

With seven newcomers in 2015, the Bruins shared the OVC East division crown with Eastern Kentucky. Belmont junior Craig Bradshaw (Ridgetop, Tenn.) and sophomore Evan Bradds (Jamestown, Ohio) were named All-OVC Tuesday.

Since 2006, Belmont is 19-3 in conference tournament games, including six conference tournament championships (2006, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012 - Atlantic Sun; 2013 - OVC).

This marks the first-ever quarterfinal round appearance for Belmont in the OVC Tournament. The Bruins received double-byes in 2013 and 2014 by virtue of winning the conference regular season championship.

Belmont played home games at Nashville Municipal Auditorium from 2001-03 while its current home - the Curb Event Center - was under construction.

Seven of Belmont's 15 roster members will be making their debut appearances in the OVC Tournament.

Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. CT from Nashville Municipal Auditorium. The game will be broadcast on the OVC Digital Network. The live play-by-play of Voice of the Bruins Kevin Ingram can be heard on the Bruin Sports Network and 104.5 The Zone. In-game updates will be available on Twitter @BelmontMBB.
