Belmont-Milwaukee Game Preview

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - - Following semester exams, Belmont University men's basketball returns to game action Wednesday vs. Milwaukee.

Belmont dropped a 69-54 decision at Lipscomb Dec. 4. Junior Kevin McClain (Jennings, Fla.) scored a team-high 14 points.

Junior Dylan Windler (Indianapolis, Ind.) is fifth in the nation in double-doubles (7) while senior Austin Luke (Rowlett, Texas) is ninth nationally in assists per game (7.3).

Two members of Belmont's incoming class hail from the state of Wisconsin: Mitch Listau (Waunakee) and Derek Sabin (Slinger).

2014 Belmont graduate Drew Windler is a native of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Belmont Associate Head Coach for Track & Field Cameron Harvey is a native of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and ran track in Milwaukee at Marquette University.

2012 Belmont graduate and CEO of Pure Sweat Basketball Drew Hanlen has an impressive NBA client list, including Thon Maker of the Milwaukee Bucks.

This marks the second meeting between Belmont and Milwaukee. Belmont won last season, 62-56, at UWM Panther Arena. Senior Amanze Egekeze (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) had a career-high 14 rebounds in last season's victory. Egekeze played in front of family and friends in attendance.

Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on OVC Digital Network. The live play-by-play of Voice of the Bruins Kevin Ingram can be heard on the Bruin Sports Network. In-game updates will be available via Twitter @BelmontMBB.

Wednesday will be a December Dollar Night game, with all advanced ticket sales for $1. Fans can call or text 615-460-BALL for tickets.

In addition, the first 300 fans will receive FREE expandable light swords as part of Star Wars Night.
