FORT MYERS, FLA. - - Belmont men's basketball concludes its Atlantic Sun Conference road schedule Saturday at Florida Gulf Coast.

The Bruins won their sixth consecutive game Thursday at Stetson, 79-70. In a seesaw affair, Belmont made plays on both ends of the floor to close the game on a 24-7 run.

Sophomore Drew Hanlen delivered one of his finest performance as a Bruin at Stetson. The St. Louis, Mo. native had nine points, a career-high seven rebounds, six assists and a career-high four steals. Hanlen ranks second in the Atlantic Sun in assist-to-turnover ratio.

Traditionally known for its three-point shooting prowess and halfcourt execution, Belmont has been solid defensively all season. The Bruins lead the Atlantic Sun in field goal percentage defense (.411) and three-point field goal percentage defense (.297).

Belmont has won three of its four meetings with FGCU. The Eagles won 66-63 in Nashville Jan. 2.
