NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont men's golf team competes in their third tournament of the spring season as they play in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate this Sunday-Tuesday in Sevierville, Tennessee.
The Bruins hope to bounce back after last week's ninth place showing at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. Leading the way for BU in that event was freshman Nate Thomson, who finished in a tie for 29th place with a score of 230.
Thomson leads the team in scoring average. In 20 competitive rounds, he has a mark of 74.7. Sophomore Daniel Booker is second on the team in scoring with a 75.3 average in 18 rounds played.
The Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate is hosted by Tennessee Tech at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tennessee. It is a three-day, 54 hole event with 18 holes played on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Play will begin each day with a 9:00am CT shotgun start.
