KENNESAW, Ga. – The Belmont men's golf team moved up a spot in Tuesday's final round to finish in 10th place at the Pinetree Intercollegiate held this week at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Georgia.
In Tuesday's final round, the Bruins posted a team score of 298 to finish the tournament in 10th place with a 54-hole mark of 901. Wisconsin won the team title with a score of 857, while Kennesaw State was second at 862.
Two Belmont golfers finished among the top-25. Senior Daniel Booker shot a two-under par 70 in the final round to finish the event in a tie for seventh place at 215. He finished seven shots behind the medalist, Billy Tom Sargent of Western Kentucky. It was Booker's second top-10 finish of the fall season.
Sophomore Jack Uselton carded his second top-25 finish of the season as he tied for 25th place at 222. He shot a 74 in Tuesday's final round.
This tournament wraps up the fall season for the men's golf team. In five events, they won one team title and a total of three top-seven finishes. The Bruins open up their spring season on February 16-17 at the Invitational at Savannah Harbor in Savannah, Georgia.
