PINEHURST, N.C. – The Belmont men's golf team moved up four spots in Saturday's second round to stand in sixth place after 36 holes of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate held on the #8 Course in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
The Bruins posted a team score of 299 to finish the day in sixth place at 602. Davidson leads at 572, while Radford is in second at 592.
Two Bruins are among the top-25 after two rounds. Sophomore Evan Davis is tied for eighth at 147 after shooting a 75 on Saturday. He is eight shots behind leader Clayton Tribus of Davidson.
Senior Noah Trenkler shot a 74 on Saturday and is tied for 21st place at 150.
Senior Parker Buck is competing as an individual and is tied for 73rd at 160.
