Scott Barnhart begins his first season as an assistant coach for the Belmont men’s golf program.
Barnhart is no stranger to the golf program as he was a four-year letterwinner for the Bruins from 2012-2016. During his playing career, he posted 12 top-25 finishes in 36 events he competed. He also improved his scoring average by over four strokes during his four years at Belmont. He also served as team captain and served as the team’s representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He graduated in May of 2016 with a degree in Business.
After graduation, he was a graduate assistant coach for the program for two years as he pursued a masters degree in Accounting.
Scott and his wife Cassie, a former Belmont soccer player, reside in Brentwood.
