NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont Men's Soccer opened their first of two home exhibition matches with a bang, scoring multiple goals in a 3-0 victory over Tusculum on Wednesday night under the lights at E.S. Rose Park.

Belmont went on the attack early, holding onto the better possession throughout the early minutes of the match. Belmont struck first in the 19' to take a 1-0 lead that would hold through the first half.

The Bruins' strike in the first half ignited its offense coming out of the locker room. Belmont netted its second goal of the night in the 67' with a beautiful upper 90 strike from the left side of the box before capping off the night with a third goal in the 83' after a free kick from just outside the 18.

Belmont will be back in action on Saturday, August 18 for an exhibition against Bradley. The teams are slated to hit the pitch at 12:00 p.m. CT.
