Clash with Presbyterian

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Belmont University Men's Soccer hits the road for the fifth time this season as it travels to Clinton, S.C. for a non-conference midweek matchup on Tuesday. Kickoff is slated for 5:00 p.m. at Martin Stadium.

ABOUT THE BRUINS

The Bruins are looking to notch its first victory of the season as they travel to Presbyterian. Belmont will look to bounce back after a 3-0 loss to Memphis the last time out and will look to capitalize on a Blue Hose defense that has allowed 14 goals to get its offense going and secure three points.

GET TO KNOW THE BLUE HOSE

Presbyterian has yet to notch a win in the 2018 campaign. The Blue Hose has struggled offensively, having scored just one goal in its first six games. Although Presbyterian has struggled early on, it has faced some stiff competition. The side has faced No. 1 Wake Forest and No. 14 NC State already this season.

SERIES BREAKDOWN

Tuesday's match will mark just the second meeting between the two sides. The one and only meeting between the schools was in 2008 at Belmont's home pitch where Belmont took home the 3-0 victory.
