DAYTON, Ohio -- The Belmont Bruins begin their Ohio weekend road trip today, as they compete against the Dayton Flyers at 6:00 PM. They will then face the Xavier Musketeers on Saturday and the Wright State Raiders on Sunday.
Belmont is coming off of a terrific home stand, in which the Bruins swept their double header against Southern Utah and Martin Methodist.
Junior Hendrik Inno was once again the shinning star for the Bruins in that double header, as he won his first singles match against Southern Utah in two sets (7-5, 6-3), and his second singles match against Martin Methodist also in two sets (6-2, 6-1). The reigning OVC Player of the Year will hope to keep his momentum going on the road.
Belmont doubles also improved drastically. After losing all three doubles matches against the Memphis Tigers, the Bruins went 5 for 6 in doubles play last Saturday.
