CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - - Belmont University men's track & field made a major move on Day 2 of the 2019 OVC Outdoor Championships hosted by Southeast Missouri.
The Bruins recorded 35 points Friday, for a team total of 53 to stand third heading into Saturday's final day of competition.
As he did Thursday, junior Drake Mitchell (Nashville, Tenn.) set the tone and established Belmont as a force to be reckoned with, earning silver in the men's decathlon.
