NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Huge congratulations to Kaleb McLeod, as the NCAA just announced that he joins his brother, Jacob McLeod, as an individual qualifier for the NCAA National Championships in Madison, Wis.
Kaleb McLeod placed 7th in the NCAA South Regional 10K, posting a time of 31:25.1. The top 5 individuals of the NCAA South Regional automatically qualify for nationals, and this includes Jacob McLeod who placed 4th posting a time of 31:20.2. This means that Kaleb McLeod was going to hope for an at large bid.
Surrounded by his teammates, he hears his name being called on the NCAA National Championships Selection show, and now joins his brother as one of five runners at Belmont to ever compete at the NCAA National Championships.
The McLeod brothers will run at the NCAA National Championships on Saturday, November 17, at Madison, Wis.
