MAGGARD IN THE STARTING LINEUP
Maggard has appeared in every possible game of her Belmont career the past four years, starting 116 of 117 contests for the Bruins. The lone time she came off the bench was on Feb. 25, 2017 – that year's senior day celebration game when she sat in place of starting senior Kia Perry.
BOARDS ON THE LEADERBOARD
Belmont leads the OVC in rebounding margin this season at +4.1 per game. The Bruins are second overall in rebounds with 41.2 per game and fourth in defensive rebounding at 37.1 per game. The Bruins are 9-0 this year when out-rebounding their opponents, 2-5 in all other games.
65: THE MAGIC NUMBER
Belmont is 11-0 when holding opponents to fewer than 65 points this season. However, the Bruins have lost all five games in which they've allowed 65 or more points.
TWO FOR 20
Darby Maggard (21 points) and Ellie Harmeyer (20) each reached 20 points vs. Morehead State on Jan. 10, the first time a pair of Bruins has done that this season. The last time two Belmont players scored 20 or more was Feb. 15, 2018 when Maggard scored 26 and Kylee Smith had 23.
Belmont ranks 9th in the nation with 10.0 made 3-pointers per game and has made at least 10 threes in 10 of 16 games this season. The Bruins ranked third in the nation last year with 357 made 3-pointers, averaging 10.2 per game. They hit at least 10 threes in 18 games in 2017-18.
