MOREHEAD, Ky. – The top two teams in the Ohio Valley Conference will meet Saturday when the Belmont women's basketball team travels to face Morehead State.
The teams have been on a collision course since their first meeting of the season a month ago. The Bruins picked up a 77-50 win in Nashville on Jan. 10, and neither team has lost since. That victory kicked off Belmont's (17-5, 10-1 OVC) current nine-game winning streak, and Morehead State (18-6, 9-2 OVC) has won its past eight straight.
The first-place Bruins tip off against No. 2 Morehead at 1:05 p.m. (CT) from the Eagles' Johnson Arena with the game streaming online at ESPN+ and with the Watch ESPN app. An audio stream is also available through the Bruin Sports Network.
A Belmont win would give the Bruins a two-game cushion atop the OVC standings with six games to play. A loss would pull Morehead State into a tie for first with Belmont with the teams having split their regular season series.
Belmont is 14-3 against Morehead State all time, including a 77-50 victory vs. the Eagles on Jan. 10 at home. Neither team has lost since that matchup, Belmont riding a streak of nine straight wins and MSU having won its past eight.
By scoring 100 points vs UT Martin (2/2), Belmont reached the century mark for just the fourth time in the program's NCAA era. Belmont has one 100-point game in each of the past four seasons. It's also the second most points ever scored at the Curb Event Center (102 vs. Troy, 2015).

Belmont dished out 30 team assists vs. UT Martin (2/2), its the Bruins' most in a game in nearly 20 years, falling fell one shy of the team record in the NCAA era of 31 (vs. Sewanee, 2000).

Jenny Roy logged the Bruins' first 20-rebound game in 12 years (Alysha Clark, 20, 2007) with 20 boards vs. UT Martin (2/2). She has 810 career rebounds, ninth all time in Belmont history.
