NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team returns to action this Monday and Tuesday at the Morehead State/Greenbrier Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky.
The Bruins enter the tournament with confidence after defeating Sewanee in a dual match on September 2. In the match, BU captured five of seven matches. Junior Carlee Nanney, sophomore Ann Catherine Blackburn, and freshmen Courtney Bryant, Katelyn Dunstan, and Cameron Fish all earned wins for Belmont.
This week's Morehead State/Greenbrier Invitational is two day, 54-hole event, with 36 holes contested on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. It will be held at the Greenbrier Golf and Country Club in Lexington, Kentucky and play to a par 72 and a yardage of 5,961 yards.
The field features six teams, including Austin Peay, Belmont, Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, UNC-Asheville, and host Morehead State.
Frist round play will begin Monday morning with a 8:00am CT shotgun start.
