NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – The Belmont men's golf team finished in seventh place at this week's MAC Fall Preview at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Indiana. 

On another cold and damp day, the Bruins posted a team score of 317 to finish the event in seventh place with a 54-hole mark of 922.  Xavier won the team title with a score of 881, while Toledo was second at 885.

Leading the way for Belmont was freshman Cameron Fish.  The Panama City Beach, Florida native carded a six over par 78 in the final round to finish in a tie for 19th place at 228.   It was her second top-20 finish of the fall season.

Fellow freshman Katelyn Dunstan finished three shots behind Fish in a tie for 31st place at 231.  The Little Rock, Arkansas native shot a 77 on Tuesday.

Other Belmont scores from the tournament included: sophomore Maribeth Peevy (T-35, 235), senior Emma Kate Liu (T-48, 238). 

After withdrawing after the first round on Monday, junior Carlee Nanney returned to action and shot a 79 in the final round. 

Toledo's Natcha Daengpiem was the individual medalist at 212. 

The women's golf team is off for a couple of weeks before returning to action on October 29-30 at the Town and Country Invitational at Nashville's McCabe Golf Course.
