NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's golf team returns to competition this Friday and Saturday at the EKU Colonel Classic in Richmond, Kentucky.
The Bruins are coming off a ninth place finish at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate two weeks ago. Freshman Katelyn Dunstan led BU with a 29th place finish and a score of 236.
Senior Emma Kate Liu continues to lead Belmont in scoring with a 76.0 average. Dunstan is right behind in second place with a 77.1 mark.
This week's EKU Colonel Classic is a two-day, 54-hole event with 36 holes contested on Friday and 18 holes on Saturday. It will be held at the Arlington Golf Club in Richmond, Kentucky and play to a par 72 and a length of 5,885 yards.
The field features 13 teams including Akron, Ball State, Cleveland State, Dayton, and four OVC teams: host Eastern Kentucky, Austin Peay, Belmont, and Tennessee Tech.
