RICHMOND, Ky. – The Belmont women's golf team finished in 11th place at the EKU Colonel Classic held this weekend at the Arlington Golf Club in Richmond, Kentucky.
Belmont carded a final round score of 319 to finish the tournament in 11th place at 942. Host Eastern Kentucky was the team champion with a score of 875, while Northern Illinois was second at 888.
Leading the way for the Bruins was freshman Katelyn Dunstan. The Little Rock, Arkansas shot a 79 in the final round to finish in a tie for 30th place with a 54-hole mark of 232. This is the third straight tournament she has paced the team in scoring.
Fellow freshman Cameron Fish finished one shot back on Dunstan and in a tie for 33rd place at 233.
Senior Emma Kate Liu, competing as an individual and who withdrew after round one of Friday, came back and shot a 77 in the final round.
EKU's Elsa Moberly was the individual medalist at 212.
The women's golf team is back in action next Friday-Saturday at the Jan Weaver Invitational in Murray, Kentucky.
